You don't need a computer to save a Twitch clip — it works from your phone's browser too, though a couple of things behave a little differently depending on whether you're on iOS or Android.
Step 1: Copy the clip link
From the Twitch app or twitch.tv in your phone's browser, use the Share option on a clip and copy the link, or copy it directly from your browser's address bar if you're already viewing the clip page.
Step 2: Open Clip Samurai in your phone's browser
Go to clipsamurai.com in Safari (iOS) or Chrome (Android) — it works the same as desktop, just resized for a smaller screen. Paste the link into the box and tap Download.
Where the file goes
This part depends on your phone, not on the tool:
- Android: downloads typically land in your Downloads folder or Files app, same as any other file downloaded through Chrome.
- iPhone: Safari usually saves downloads to the Files app under "Downloads," and video files can often be found in your Photos app afterward depending on your Safari settings.
A note on Kick clips specifically
Kick clips download as a .ts file rather than .mp4, which some phone gallery apps don't recognize by default. If a downloaded Kick clip won't play, a dedicated video player app (like VLC, which has free iOS and Android versions) will open it without issue.
If the download button doesn't seem to do anything
Some mobile browsers handle file downloads a little differently than desktop ones. If tapping Download doesn't visibly do anything, check your browser's own downloads list (usually in its menu) — the file may have saved without an obvious confirmation popup.
