Reasons vary: fans curious about a streamer's growth, editors and clippers deciding whether a channel is worth following for content, researchers doing informal competitive analysis of a niche, or brands doing a quick gut-check on a potential sponsorship before reaching out formally. None of it requires an account or logging into either platform.
Using Streamer Info
On Clip Samurai, switch to the Streamer Info tab, pick Twitch or Kick using the toggle, and enter a username or paste their channel link directly.
What shows up for Twitch
Profile picture, follower count, bio, and live status — including the game they're playing and how long they've been streaming if they're currently live. You'll also see their account creation date, total channel views, and a Partner badge if they've achieved Partner status. If they're offline, recent games from their last several broadcasts show up too, giving a quick sense of what they typically play.
What's different for Kick
Kick shows all the same core info — avatar, follower count, bio, live status — plus something Twitch doesn't expose at all: social media links. If a Kick streamer has linked their Twitter/X, YouTube, Instagram, or Discord, those show up as clickable pills right on their profile. That's genuinely useful if you're trying to find someone's other platforms and Twitch simply won't tell you.
Downloading their profile picture or banner
Both their avatar and channel banner (when they've set one) have a small download icon on the corner, saving the largest version the platform provides — no need to screenshot or dig through page source to grab a clean copy.
Jumping straight to their clips
If you're looking at a Twitch streamer specifically, a "View clips" button takes you straight to Bulk Download with their username already filled in and searched, skipping the step of retyping their name in a different tab.
